| Medstar offers HSFO certified courses in |
| cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) including |
| level A - Heart Saver, level C - Basic Rescuer |
| and recertifiication courses.Also offered is the |
| HSFO semi-automatic external defibrillation |
| training program (SAED). |
| First Aid and Emergency Oxygen. |
| Medstar offers Basic First Aid courses on |
| behalf of the ASHI which meet the guidlines |
| of the Occupational Safety and Health |
| Administration (OHSA) and Department of |
| Transport (DOT). Also offered are other |
| ASHI courses such as "Emergency Oxygen". |
| "First There, First Care." |
| Medstar is especially proud to be one of the |
| first agencies in Canada to offer the NHTSA |
| program "First There,First Care" which is |
| intended to teach drivers what to do at the |
| scene of a motor vehicle collision. |
